I love the violin, I love children, and I love to teach. I have been teaching violin for nine years. I am currently finishing the last semester of of my Bachelor of Music degree. In January I will begin my Masters degree in Music. I believe that any child can learn to play the violin provided that the child is given a proper environment for learning. I believe in my students and I expect much from them. Children rise to the occasion when they sense that someone believes in them. My goal is to bring out the full potential in each child.
Studying music contributes to self discipline, concentration, responsibility, teamwork, confidence and self-esteem, as well as tremendous personal enjoyment! Whether the student aspires to become a professional musician or simply enjoy music as a hobby, it is my joy to train them to discover and utilize their God - given talents by giving them the tools they need to start on a life long passion for music.
Children ages 3 and 4 are especially encouraged to join the program, but older students are also welcome.
Please feel welcome to contact me to arrange a time for a free interview lesson to learn about the program and studio policy.
