For young students 2-5 years of age, we teach Suzuki Method and incorporate some methods for reading once students have the desire and elementary music skills. We teach strictly out of the Suzuki books until a student is past book 4, then we add in additional pieces from alternative composers to help broaden the student's repertoire. We also specialize in coaching for auditions with the Sacramento Youth Symphony and high school seniors with collegiate auditions and competitions. For college students, we coach music theory, indepth of musical technique, note comprehension, ear training, tone production and intonation, repertoire expansion as well as support and encouragement of self-confidence and self-expression.
