Located in Downtown Tucson, Arizona, Soundpost Studio is the creative work of violinist Rosamond Finley. Soundpost offers lessons for students aged 5 and up, including adults. Rosamond teaches traditional violin lessons (not Suzuki), so that students develop skills in note-reading from the very beginning. Rosamond has a degree in violin performance and has taught violin and Orff music classes for babies and toddlers at Claremont Community School of Music in the Los Angeles area. New to Tucson, Rosamond currently is the Orchestra Director at Carson Middle School and plays with Tucson Chamber Orchestra. Soundpost Studio offers a free trial lesson.
