I've been teaching private violin lessons in the KC area since 1978. My teaching is based on the principles of the Suzuki Method. Many students have been soloists and/or held top positions in youth symphony, university orchestras, and professional groups. My hope is for all students to carry with them a life-long love of music. The studio presents at least one community outreach performance each year. I also teach and have performance experience on viola.
My music background includes a BM, MM, and work toward a DMA.
I'm a member of SAA, ASTA, NFMC.
