Welcome! To introduce myself, I have 40 years of performing experience & 25 years of teaching experience. I have Bachelor & Masters degrees in violin performance from the University of Southern California and 4 years of Doctoral work from SUNY at Stonybrook. (My major teachers included Eudice Shapiro & Joyce Robbins) I teach violin & viola (all levels, all ages-including adult beginners). I also teach beginning cello & piano. I do not teach the Suzuki method. I strongly believe that everyone and anyone can easily learn to read music. I teach theory, rhythm & sight-reading to all my students.
