Studio Information
I teach private lessons full time in South Anchorage, from young beginners to adult enthusiasts. Though I consider myself a fiddler, I really specialize in good technique because it makes everything so much easier. I've done a lot of work with an Alexander technique teacher and try to incorporate that as much as I can in my teaching, as well. Being a 'fiddle' teacher also means I spend a lot of time explaining the practical and fun side of music theory. My goal is to help people feel comfortable playing with other people -- whether that's their school orchestra or the local folk music jam.
