Hello, my name is Greta Thomas. I am an experienced violin instructor and performer in the Baltimore area. I offer lessons to all ages and abilities, and I am currently accepting students for lessons in my home studio.
I teach using the Suzuki violin method, which is heavily dependent upon listening in order to help internalize the songs we play. Parents can help their child learn the material by listening to the songs with them in between lessons. I am very good at tailoring our material to fit each student's learning style. I feel strongly that we can have a fun lesson where we learn to love playing while we learn the basics for tone, posture, bow hold and intonation.
I charge $100 a month for weekly 30 minute lessons, and $150 a month for weekly hour long lessons. My home studio is just a short drive from Towson and Timonium, and I am flexible with lesson times. You may reach me by sending me a message at zachngreta@gmail.com or by calling me.
