About us: Bay Area Academy of Music is a privately owned school located in Pleasanton, California. Our school provides music programs for beginners and more experienced students, ages 5 thru adult. Are you an adult beginner? No problem! Our patient instructors have the ability to teach any age at any level.
In addition to Violin, we also offer lessons in: Viola, Piano, Voice, Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Classical and Bass), Trumpet, the Simply Music piano program, and more! At Bay Area Academy of Music, we believe that everyone, without exception, is naturally musical! Our patient, professional instructors focus on the fun and pleasure of playing music, and provide students with the skills they need to maintain music as their life-long companion.
We hire only highly educated, experienced and licensed professional instructors. Most either have a degree in music or are pursuing a degree in music and some are working on their masters. Each one has been thoroughly screened and has been very carefully chosen for their skills and abilities.
