Richard Coff is he founder/director of America's Suzuki Music Academy, South Florida's regional center for formal Suzuki Method classical violin training for children. age 2 and up. The Academy and the Academy's children musicians have been featured in numerous published articles and on national television.
Mr. Coff, an author and a recognized expert in the Suzuki Method education field, is listed in the "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" national directory. He is a graduate of Boston's New England Conservatory of Music. Mr Coff was one of the first teachers in the United States to receive teacher training from Shinichi Suzuki, the creator of the Suzuki method, and began his teaching career as a member of the faculty of Boston's New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division, where he established one of America's first Suzuki Method programs and provided formal Suzuki Method violin instruction for young gifted children.
